   Rita Germaine Faucher, 89, of Milford, formerly of Manchester and Nashua, and widow of Lionel W. Faucher, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, October 9, 2016 at Ledgewood Bay Assisted Living, where she has resided since July of 2010.

   A native and longtime resident of Manchester, Rita was born on June 15, 1927, a daughter of the late Alfred and Albertine (Vaudreuil) Guimond. She was educated in Manchester schools and had been employed as a cloth inspector with the former Verney Mills during World War II.

   Rita loved family gatherings during the Holiday’s, traveling, playing bingo, solving word puzzles and enjoyed nature.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

   In addition to her parents, Rita was predeceased by her husband, Lionel W. Faucher who passed away December 17, 2005. They were married at St. Marie’s Church in Manchester on September 6, 1948.

     Members of her family include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary J. and Nancy Faucher of Nashua; her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Dennis Sweeney of Goffstown; five grandchildren, Michael Gagne and husband Steve of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Jill Gagne of Nashua, Kelly Gagne and her fiancé Trevor Cloutier of Keene, Stefanie Sweeney of Manchester and Shawn Sweeney and his wife Mandi of Goffstown; six great-grandchildren, Nathan Ratty, Alexis Ratty, Jaelyn Gagne Bonita, Anthony Mollica, Marissa Mollica and Kaydence Cloutier; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Doris Guimond of Manchester; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Rita was also predeceased by a brother, Maurice Guimond.

     There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, Friday morning, October 14th at 11 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and will gather at the cemetery.
