I am Bob's biological Daughter. I reached out to him this summer and he seemed like he wanted to get to know who I was. He was never part of my life growing up, that was by his choice. I am now 46 years old and found out about his death by accident. When I reached out to him, nobody in his family knew he had children. If anyone has any information to share, I would appreciate it.

My son and I re-joined the Flying Tigers Club this year after a very long departure from the hobby. We did not know Bob personally, but I learned what Bob was all about at the August club meeting. Bob clearly stressed the point of club members building kits to understand how an aircraft flies, and how it can be repaired, compared to our ready built society and throw it away if it does not work. Most of all, with failing health, Bob offered his help to club members if they needed help building their first kits. What also hit home with me is that Bob was flying RC since 1946. We lost a club member with all of his tribal knowledge. All people who knew Bob lost a good person. God bless Bob, RIP, and god bless all people who pray for him.

Bob personified everything good in the Flying Tigers RC Club. He always had a positive attitude, he was always willing to help another member and he would pitch in and help with whatever the club needed, from cutting the lawn to serving as president. It was clear he loved RC flying, he probably knew more about the sport than anyone else and he was a real craftsman, building beautiful aircraft that flew perfectly. He will be missed and he will be remembered.

BOB was my friend on and off the field for the past ten years. He always had time for a cup of coffee and a chat. He was a great person, kind, good pilot and best of friends to everyone. All active members know how hard he worked for our club. He will surly be missed. Rest In Pease My Friend

Bob was my friend for 10+ years. He was my instructor back then when I was learning how to fly RC planes. We had become good friends. He was one of the kindest person I ever met, always willing to help out anyway he could and always with a smile. I will miss seeing him at the field and the fun we had together. Rest in peace my friend.
