     Roland J. Dube, 86, of Nashua, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Monday afternoon, September 5, 2016.

      A resident of Nashua for over 50 years, Roland was born in St. Hermenegilde, P.Q., Canada on November 3, 1929, one of twenty four children of the late Adelard and Jean (Dube) Dube. After moving to Nashua, Roland had been employed with Fimbel Door and the former Indian Head Mill Work for several years. He later worked as a maintenance man at Teledyne Electro Mechanisms in Hudson.

     In his leisure time, Roland enjoyed trips to the White Mountains, Lake Winnipesaukee and camping. He will be remembered as a hard working family man and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Roland also loved his pet mouse.

     Roland married Patricia Marie Charest on June 29, 1962 in Pepperell, MA and shared 42 years together until her passing on April 30, 2005.

      Members of his family include a son, David R. Dube of Raymond, NH; a daughter, Donna L. Hughes of Nashua; three grandchildren, Cameron Dube, Amanda Hughes and Ashley Hughes; two great-grandchildren, Brielle and Brennan; his sisters and brothers, Simone Dube of Groveton, NH, George Dube of Nashua, Robert Dube, Francois Dube, Diane (Dube) Vaillancourt, Real Dube and Richard Dube all of Canada; also several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and cousins.

      Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Sunday afternoon, September 11th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will take place in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 West Hollis Street, Nashua, Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to gather at the cemetery. I am sorry to hear of Roland Dube's passing. He was a very good employee for Indian Head Millwork and remember him always having a smile and good things to say. I am sure the family will miss him very much.
