Stanley J. Grzesik Jr., 84, a resident of NH and MA, passed away of natural causes on Monday evening, March 7h, 2016. Stanley resided in Nashua, NH with his wife of 55 years, Lillian Grzesik, who passed away March 16, 2014.

Stanley was born in Lowell, MA, on February 4th, 1932, the son of the late Stanley and Stella Grzesik. Stanley graduated from Keith Academy, Lowell, MA, and then served in the Army during the Korean War. Upon his return from service, Stanley attended Lowell Technical Institute and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Stanley spent 20 years working at Sanders Associates in Nashua.

Stanley was a wonderful person and devoted father, and loved to spend time with his children. Stanley was an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying camping, fishing, hunting and skiing, and his love of the outdoors is now shared by his 3 children. Stanley was also a sporting fan, and he generously donated his time to coach several youth baseball league organizations.

Upon retirement, Stanley was a volunteer and donated his time at the Senior Center and Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua. Stanley was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Stanley was pre-deceased by his wife, Lillian (Chmieleski) Grzesik, and his granddaughter, Abby Grzesik. Stanley is survived by his son Tony and his wife Diane of Merrimack; his daughter Stasia Dionne and her husband Dr. Pierre Dionne of Hudson; his son Ted and his wife Christine of Conway; nine grandchildren; his sister, Catherine Michalczyk; his sister, Pauline Dunn; and his brother, John Grzesik.

Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua, Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend and will gather at the church. I used to look forward to buying wood from Stan every year for the past 7 years or so. We would just catch up for an hour a so about life, his family, career etc, he was such a great guy. He is missed.

May you find comfort in the lasting memories and impact he made on so many people. Uncle Stanley was always a voice of reason and the Patriarch of the family. He was an authentic role model to all who knew him, he will be missed.
