    Sylvia L. “Sibby” Wynott, 83, of Manchester and formerly of Nashua and Hudson, passed away Friday afternoon, September 16, 2016 at the Hackett Hill Center in Manchester after a period of declining health.

    A daughter of the late Lawrence R. and Lilie E. (Leard) Wynott, she was born in Nashua on February 13, 1933. Sibby was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1951 and furthered her education at a business college.

     She had been employed as a secretary at Sprague Electric Company in Nashua for many years and later worked for Tri-State Sales in Manchester for twenty years.

    In her leisure time, Sibby loved traveling to many countries around the world and trips to the beach. She also enjoyed reading novels, playing golf and softball and was a Red Sox fan. Sibby especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

     Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence R. Wynott Jr. and her life time partner, Richard W. “Dick” Josef.

     Members of her family include a brother, Raymond W. Wynott of Nashua; a sister-in-law, Nancy Wynott of Nashua; her nieces and nephews, Dennis Wynott and his wife Sandra, Sheila Oliver and her husband Robert, Carol Duncanson and her husband Daniel, Susan Wynott, Sandra Tibbetts, Shawn Wynott and Scott Wynott and his wife Sherry; numerous grandnieces and grandnephews; her aunt, Helen Leard of Clear Lake, CA; also many members of the Josef family and several cousins.

      Family and friends are invited to the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Saturday, September 24th beginning at 10 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11 o’clock. Interment will take place in Edgewood Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the New Hampshire Lung Association.
