Thelma C. LaFlamme, a lifelong Nashua resident and widow of Philip A. LaFlamme, passed away Monday evening, April 4, 2016 at her home at Aynsley Place after a brief illness.
Mrs. LaFlamme was born in Nashua on August 22, 1924, daughter of the late James and Aglaia (Sianos) Costaras. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1942. Thelma had been employed as the office manager of Greenerd Press and Machine Company, Inc. in Nashua for 42 years.
In her leisure time, Thelma loved sailing with her husband; enjoyed summers at her home at Lake Winnipesaukee and winters in Boca Grande, Florida. She was a communicant of St. Christopher Church.
Thelma was predeceased by her husband Philip who died March 13, 1992; and her brothers-in-law, George N. LaFlamme and his wife Esta, and Albert A. “Berdie” LaFlamme.
Members of her family include her brother and two sisters-in-law, Chris and Helen Costaras of Concord, NH and Joan M. (Messier) LaFlamme of Nashua; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua on Friday morning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend and will gather at the church.
