   Theresa M. (Ravenelle) Cote, 89, of Nashua, widow of Edgar N. Cote, passed away Friday morning, May 13, 2016 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a brief illness.

     A lifelong resident of this city, Theresa was born in Nashua on June 25, 1926, a daughter of the late Luc J.B. and Blanche (Boisvert) Ravenelle. Educated in local schools, Theresa was an active communicant of St. Christopher Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and sang in the choir for many years.

     Theresa will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edgar who passed away May 14, 1987; her sister and brother-in-law, Irene B. and Hector H. “Tiny” Brault; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Ravenelle.

     Members of her family include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Donald Hodge and Marie A. and Dennis Zibolis; a son and daughter-in-law, Marc P. and Gina Cote; six children, Jonathan Hodge, Aimee Hodge and Dennis Zibolis Jr, Nicholas Cote, Jeffrey Cote and Alyssa Cote; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Paul L. Ravenelle of Nashua, Richard W. Ravenelle of Rochester, and Maurice E. and Margaret Ravenelle of Nashua; a sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Donald Jarest of Nashua; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, Monday morning at 11 o’clock.  Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and will gather at the church. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054. Theresa and edger were my first landlords after I got married . They lived on the top floor , us the second on Stark St. in nashua . We lived there when my first child was born . She was the absolute most kindest person . I was so homesick when we moved from there and bought our first home ! Stark st was home to me for 2 years .

Sorry to hear this news. I and many at Indian Head have wonderful memories of you, so long ago. You were the kindest employee that I knew. Peace, beautiful lady, your family and many others will remember you for a very long time.
