Sandy was so many things: fun, bright, a great cook, avid reader, politically astute, a fabulous gardener, a good and thoughtful friend, and above all she loved her family. I miss Sandy, as will many other people.

We shared the privilege of knowing Sandy through our dear friends Tom and Nancy. On our trip to Tuscany, Sandy was the only one with the energy to keep up with Lauren. This memory is one we will cherish.

Sandy made life better. She was fun to be with, had a great sense of humor, kept up with our ever changing news and was a friend I could talk to about anything. An attentive hostess her dinners were exquisite and how she loved to please. So proud of everyone in her family Sandy shared their life steps and accomplishments with a sparkle in her eyes and was so appreciative of their antcipation and assurance of her safety and needs. Her youthful spirit and keen mind defied her years.

Sandy was a beautiful soul and we are so blessed to have had her in our life. When Dan and I met her as teenagers, she warmly welcomed us in as her own family. Sandy always made us feel special and loved as she did with everyone. She was gracious, giving and always had amazing stories. Seeing Sandy at our annual summer celebrations was always a highlight. She will be missed dearly by our entire family.

Although I did not know Sandy all that long, her gracious nature and beautiful smile made her completely endearing. She could add wonderful stories to every occasion and was equally interested in the lives of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed!
