I met Don (who introduced himself tgen as Donnie) in September of 1982 while attending the first of several classes at MIT funded by AT&T. Our paths crossed numerous times over the next 10-12 years and he became a close friend. I greatly regret we were out of touch for so long but gladly reconnected with him last year. I have many great fun memories of adventures shared. I'm happy he found a new path and had new family and professional lives that appear were really good for him. Rest in peace old friend and I'll look forward to us meeting again when my name is called home.

Don will be highly missed and forever remembered. He was a wonderful man who also had a great sense of humor. I am so very sorry for his children and wife's terrible grief.

To my dearest confidant: Don, you have literally saved my life numerous times and navigating life without your support will be the challenge of my lifetime. Our friendship is one that I will always treasure and I will miss our hilarious back-and-forth banter, as well as your wisdom. You have impacted so many lives as a therapist. Thinking of your family during this challenging time - You will be deeply missed. 🤍
