Frank was a good friend for many years, but I remember him best from our time together at WPI. Most of the hackers from WPI probably remember him not as "Frank" but as [1000,12625]. He was the author of FPIP. In modern times, ZIP-like programs are common place. But FPIP was the first example I had ever seen. He was the author of PDP11 "space war", MERCER, and DPSTAT. A note for Karen and Randy: You probably don't remember me. I once visited you at your home in Cayuga. I was that crazy guy with the unicycle.

Karen I am so sorry for the loss of your brother, and Randy your brother-in-law and Scott your uncle. We are thinking about you all. I will always remember my cousin Frankie as the teenager flying the remote control airplane behind the Keller Ramada Inn in Effingham. It was amazing. God bless. Keith and Lisa Eirhart
