Lee hired me at irobot as an intern 9/1/01. I remember all the times he took time to teach me while we worked together, and during smoke breaks. He was a super cool engineer, also, worked on the 1st mars sojourner robot at JPL (a true og). He got the whole game and the mission. He cared about the why when it wasn't easy.

I really respected Lee. We were friends elementary school through high school at Sahuaro. Mark Gonzales and I helped Lee build his first chopper. A triumph 650 spray painted purple. He was a blast. Same Boy Scout Troop. Lee got us pulled over by police once because he didn’t have a proper rear tail light lens. He just put red nail polish on the bulb. Did I mention he only had a front brake causing numerous falls. I miss you Lee and thank you for being part of my childhood ❤️✌️
