LAMBERT, LEO W.

Leo William Lambert, 70, of Nashua, NH, passed away Monday afternoon, July 27, 2020 with the comfort of family by his side after a long illness.

A lifelong resident of this city, Leo was born on March 18, 1950, a son of the late William Lambert and Alice Marie (Dionne) Bernard. Educated in local schools, Leo was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1968 and played on the Purple Panthers football team. After high school, Leo enlisted in the Navy and served aboard the USS Duluth during the Vietnam War.

Leo had been employed with Bellavance Beverage Company as manager of the fleet for 28 years until his retirement.

In his leisure time, Leo enjoyed Four Wheeling, White Water Rafting and Canoeing with friends up north. He also loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing as well as working in his yard and garden.

Members of his family included his beloved wife, Carol (Forrence) Lambert; his son, Walter Lambert and partner Bruce of Nashua, NH; his sister, Clara and husband Sonny Doss of Amherst, NH; his brother, Robert and his wife Lori (Whitten) Lambert of Hudson, NH; also many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Leo’s wishes were not to have any services, but for us to remember him during a celebration of life ceremony that will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if anyone knew Leo, he would appreciate you taking the time on a Friday night to crack open a cold one and have one for him and enjoy the memories you shared.

Arrangements are in the care of the FARWELL FUNERAL SERVICE, 18 Lock Street, Nashua.  www.farwellfuneralservice.com

Carol, my condolences to you and Walter. Many great memories of Leo over the years. Tons of laughs and good times were had, and bring smile when I think of them. Leo was a dedicated worker and true friend. It was a pleasure to ride with him on the truck and hang with him over the years. See you on the other side, my friend! RIP.
