Born in Nashua on November 8, 1933, he was the son of the late Ralph and Eva (Lavoie) Jambard.  Norm attended Nashua schools and graduated from Nashua High School Class of 1952. During his years in junior and high school, he formed a twelve-piece dance band with his friends and played at many school dances.

Upon his return in 1956, Norm started working at Fimbel Door Corporation. His 41 years of loyal service there saw him begin as an office clerk and up to the position of general manager. He felt very much a part of the Fimbel family.

Norm also restored two British sportscars; an MG-TD and an MG-TF. He and Pauline enjoyed a local car club, MG-T-Party and spent 40+ years driving to various destinations in the US and Canada. They enjoyed countless journeys and formed many close friendships.

Norm went on a three-week tour in South Africa. He and Pauline also toured New Zealand, parts of Europe and spent many summers travelling to Nova Scotia.

Following their retirement in 1997, they became “snowbirds” visiting The Villages in Lady Lake, FL for 19 winters.

Norm never failed to be a loving husband and father. He felt blessed for having a healthy and happy life. He used his multi-faceted talents to help friends and family with various projects. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister Pauline Dion; brothers-in-law, Richard Hill, Robert Dion and Raymond Berthiaume; and his niece, Patricia Jeffrey.

Norm is survived by his wife, Pauline; a daughter, Suzanne Matthews; a son, Peter Jambard; a sister, Rachel Hill; three nephews, two grandnieces and a grandnephew.

We are sad to hear of the passing of Norm and we offer our condolences to Pauline and the family. We have enjoyed the friendship of Norm and Pauline since the earliest days of the M.G. T-Party. Every time we saw him, he had a smile on his face, and he was always there to help with everything from offering his work location for a club meeting to spearheading the annual charity drive. He was one of the most popular club members, and he will be sorely missed but his legacy will endure.

It was an honor to know Norm. What a gentleman! At every GOF norm was on the field parking cars, even though he did not bring an MG. The T Party is about people who love MG's and Norm loved the cars and the people. A big loss for all who knew Norm.

We very much enjoyed getting to know Norm and Pauline after we moved to the Nashua area in 2005. Our deepest sympathies go to Pauline and family. Norm was a wonderful person and friend. We so enjoyed getting together for Italian dinners at a favorite restaurant. MG events will never be the same without Norm. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

My grandson, daughter, and I shall miss "the Major" whom we met about 25 years ago in Alexandria Bay, NY, at an MG event. Norm was attired in a US Army Uniform, and my grandson loved that. Our condolences to Norm's family. He will be missed by us.
