Ruth Alice Haselton, 89, of Nashua, widow of Thomas P. Haselton, passed away at her home at The Huntington at Nashua, Tuesday evening, July 28, 2020 after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Haselton was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on November 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret (McManus) Forest. Ruth was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1948 and worked at General Electric in Lynn where she met her future husband.
Ruth and Tom were married on November 24, 1956 and made their home in Lynn, MA for many years before moving to Nashua in 2005. The couple shared 49 years together until his passing on March 24, 2006.
Members of her family include her five children and their spouses, Mary Haselton and Peter Guth, Anne and Robert Kuklinski, Jane and Peter King, William and Sheryl Haselton and David and Kris Haselton; and thirteen grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Ruth was predeceased by her brother, Robert Forest; and her sister, Hilda Forest.
