Scott Solwick

Scott Edward Solwick, 62, longtime resident of Nashua, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side.  He was born on June 9, 1959 in Montebello, CA to the late Sidney Carl and Carol Jo-Ann (Forester) Solwick.  After high school, Scott proudly served his country in the US Navy and worked for many years as a truck driver for DDA Services, based out of Londonderry.

Scott enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures; from spending time on the open road on his motorcycle, camping, fishing, hiking and travelling.  He was a selfless man who would always help those who were less fortunate than himself.  As the proud patriarch of his family, Scott loved spending time with family and friends.  Scott touched many lives in many different circles and he will be fondly loved, cherished and missed by all.

Scott is survived by his beloved bride, Doris L. (Emond) Solwick, also of Nashua, with whom he celebrated over 20 years of marriage together.  He is also survived by his two children; his son Scott E. Solwick Jr, of Manchester and his daughter Elise Simone Solwick of Maine.  Scott is also survived by his two step-sons, Ronald Philbrook and his wife Maria Oslan of Merrimack and Travis Mann of Nashua, and his brother Jeff Solwick of Lake Tahoe, CA.

To honor Scott’s wishes, all services will be privately held.  Arrangements under the direction of Farwell Funeral Service, 18 Lock Street, Nashua.

Working for DDA I knew Scott. He was a great guy. Always happy, he spoke often about his time in the navy, California and about his Harley, his wife and family. He is missed.
